GroupStone
and Entango Announce Strategic Partnership
Two Companies
to Integrate Transaction and Community Management Software Systems
BERKELEY,
CA, October 6, 2001 --
GroupStone and Entango today announced an agreement to integrate
the two companies' software. The new agreement calls for GroupStone
and Entango to jointly integrate their ASP technologies and produce
comprehensive reporting of Entango-powered transactions made on
GroupStone client sites. In addition, Entango will be introducing
the integrated GroupStone outbound email marketing, inbound email
management, content management, and advocacy tools to its comprehensive
client base who will also benefit from completely integrated reporting
tools.
"This is an extremely important strategic partnership for GroupStone,
because it rounds out our strategy of integrating all of the key
online actions needed by nonprofit organizations into a single software
suite," said Adam Cohen, president of GroupStone. "Once this integration
effort has been completed GroupStone is excited to bring to its
clients the premier transaction software and provide complete reporting
capabilities through one interface. We’re also very pleased to be
offering additional and important functionalities to Entango’s clients."
The integration effort is expected to be completed by late-October
2001 and serve as a cornerstone to GroupStone's CommunityWell™ software
solution. By design, CommunityWell™ integrates content management,
email marketing, community relationship management, inbound email
management, transaction and take action utilities into a single
package, enabling GroupStone clients to have a full and complete
understanding of their site users' behaviors. Under terms of the
agreement, GroupStone will sell Entango transaction software as
an integrated, packaged or stand-alone solution to interested clients.
"Entango is pleased to partner with Groupstone to provide nonprofit
organizations with a comprehensive suite of services marketed to
their needs," said Steve Harkness, CEO of Entango. "As our clients
become more strategic in their online fundraising, they want to
take full advantage of the web's cost effectiveness. For example,
our clients are now embracing email outreach in their fundraising
and marketing strategies. Thanks to this integrated offering, our
clients will have the ability to not only reach out to their communities,
but also completely measure the comparative success of their online
campaigns."
